At the start, everyone is given a level card with eight tasks and a level indicator showing which level they are on. The player whose turn it is must first pick up a card. He can then lay out his current level face up in front of him for all to see. He may then add further cards to the cards already laid out. At the end of the turn, the player must discard one card to their own discard pile. The round ends when a player discards the last card in their hand onto their discard pile.
